Another version of this proverb is that “As we make our beds, so shall we lay on them.” When we take good care of our properties, they will remain in good shape and serve us well. In the same vein, when we take care of the people close to us, we stand a better chance of being taken care of ourselves. But when we careless about others, we have less chances of experiencing love and respect.
