ALWAYS STAND FOR THE TRUTH

This is a proverb that tells us the damages of not standing for the truth no matter how irrelevant or little that truth may be. Though it is very easy to cook up stories to defend one’s self and escape certain punishment, it does more damage than good because you will never be able to get back the trust a person or people had for you thereby losing your integrity and self-esteem. Even though no one eventually gets to find out you never said the truth, you’ll get to a level in life where you would wish you had stood for the truth, but of cause, nothing is hidden under the sun forever. Let’s always remember it pays to stand for the truth no matter the cost.
